My iPhone 5 loads up to the apple logo, this stays for about 10 seconds, then fades. The screen then goes black, and it loads up again to the apple logo and again fades. It been doing this for over 2 hours. I've tried holding the home button and lock button together for 10 seconds but this does nothing. I plugged it into my computer but iTunes is not detecting it. Please help!

Plug in your device and let it charge for up to 1 hour.
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on - Apple Support
After a few minutes, you should see the charging screen.
If you don't see the charging screen within an hour, or you see the connect to power screen, check your connector, USB cable, and power adapter. Make sure that everything is plugged in firmly, free of debris, and not damaged. You might want to try a different USB cable or power adapter.
